Privacy Policy

This policy describes how this website actually behaves today. It is a starting point written for a brochure site with no accounts, forms or payments — it has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and should be checked against your obligations before you rely on it.

What we collect

This site has no contact form, no accounts and no payments, so there is nothing here that asks you to type in personal information. Data reaches us in only two ways.

Analytics, and only if you agree

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit and which sections they read. It is switched off by default. Nothing is stored on your device and no analytics identifier is created until you press Accept on the cookie banner. If you press Decline, or simply ignore it, no analytics cookie is ever written.

When you do accept, Google Analytics collects pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, referring site, and general device and browser information. We see this only in aggregate. We do not use it for advertising and it is not combined with anything that identifies you by name.

When you contact us

If you email, call, or message us on WhatsApp, we receive whatever you choose to send — typically your name, contact details and the content of your message. We use it to reply to you and to carry out any work that follows from the conversation. WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy terms.

Technical data from hosting and third parties

Loading any website means your browser tells the servers involved your IP address and browser details. For this site those are:

• Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery, including security logging.
• Google Fonts — serves the typeface.
• jsDelivr and unpkg — serve the animation and 3D viewer libraries.

These requests happen whether or not you accept cookies, because the page cannot render without them. They are not used by us to profile you.

Legal basis and your consent

We process personal data in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). Analytics is processed on the basis of the consent you give through the cookie banner, and you can withdraw it at any time — see the Cookie Policy. Correspondence is processed so that we can respond to you and perform any resulting agreement.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. The service providers listed above process data on our behalf or as a necessary part of delivering the site, and some of them — Google and Cloudflare in particular — operate servers outside Malaysia, which means your data may be processed abroad.

How long we keep it

Google Analytics data is retained on Google's default schedule for GA4. Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting relationship, and then for as long as we are required to keep business records.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you may ask us to:

• confirm what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
• correct anything inaccurate or incomplete;
• stop or limit how we process it;
• withdraw consent you previously gave.

Write to hello@ecodoliyaorganic.com and we will respond. We may need to confirm who you are before acting on a request.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and the general public, not at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we change how the site handles data we will update this page and the date at the top.
